My custom swaybar disconnects

Hello,

Just wanted to show you my custom swaybar disconnects.

I've them F&R, the rear ones a bit longer than stock, to match the lift.

They're all made from stainless steel, lots more resistant than normal steel.

At first we used a ball joint made of a plastic polymer, rated very high but I broke the front ones when wheeling w/o disconnecting them and a rear one in a traffic circle.

Then whe searched and found the same ball joint made in metal, so we used those.

Some pics of the first design and some of them with the metal ball joints

Here you can see how them work. Disconnect the pin, and turn the bar so the only hardware remaining in the truck are the two terminations.

Later we found stainless steel pins, so we changed them

Rear one with the SS ball joint

Installed
