...got the knuckles and spindles cleaned up:


...painted them..


..got the housing clean (kinda sorta)


...then painted the housing



then put the knuckle togother (the spindles isnt bolted on fully, still dont have axles)

Got almost all the parts now, for some reason one of my leaf springs went to arizona though. Been painting alot of the stuff all day today. Not used to humidity and having stuff rust so fast...

Well, yesterday i took it to sprockets to install the front. Went pretty good until it got busy there. Its hard to cut and grind when there are other cars a few feet from you on either side. (other people probably wouldnt like molten metal on their 24" rims) I ended up saying it on cutting and grinding there, and just installed the axle. I can finish the cutting and grinding in the parking lot at the barracks. I still need to have the shock hoops welded in and the steering stabelizer welded. I also need to get a longer drive shaft. Anybody know a good source? And im a little worried about the shackle angle. Hopefully it will correct a little when the back is lifted.

Feels like im on a roller coaster driving this thing around now =)
