2wd "Runaway Concept"
Anyone ever seen anything like this before?
http://madison.craigslist.org/cto/3059072402.html
I am waiting for the guy to call me back. I am looking at getting a 2wd, because I have come to realize that it would be way more practical for me. I have tried google, but can't come up with any info about it. It looks to be a 3rd generation truck body with a 1st generation 4runner topper.
When I hear back from this guy I am going to try to check it out, even if just to get more information about it.

It looks like typical imitation canopy sold in the late 80's early 90's.
As a trekker owner I think it is pretty cool.
I would hoooe it has a 4 runner passenger front seat that releases had sliders forward further when release than a standard pick up seat for easierningress/egress.
Curious if they lowered the bed in the back for some rear passenger legroom and if it has a file and tumble seat.
If it runs good and the frame isn't doomed by Wisconsin rust it would be cool.
Edit I just looked at a rear window I have from a 1st Gen 4runner and the window pictured looks too small for it to be an original 4runner top

The guy never got in touch after I left a couple of messages. I have been having bad luck getting people to call me back recently, which, in the case of people selling trucks is probably a good thing, because I still have lots of work to do on the truck that I already have.
