Tundra UCA and LCA on 3rd gen Runner

Guys, I just picked up a 99 Runner 4x4 SR5 3.4, 5speed. It has to get lifted I've already sourced a FJ Cruiser rear axle with elocker and disk brakes to go under it 64" wms to wms. and I've got LC coils for the rear and King coil overs for the front. Since the front track is 60 inches I was wondering if I can use upper and lower control arms from a tundra with the axle to widen the front and produce a long travel with better CV's. I don't need high speed strength or to spend the bling on Total Chaos or Camburg Long travel setup that use tundra cv's and Axles anyway. Will they bolt up if i can source them from a salvage yard? I know I will need to extend the steering arms and the front will track 3 inches wider than the rear. I also have a set of 1.5" spacers that can go on the rear. I know I could SAS but this somehow seems more fun. I have an 85 runner on 39.5 Rockers for the extreme stuff. By the way I'm only looking to run 35's.

thanks for your thoughts

Sam

I have heard that the Tundra frame is wider and the control arms are the same size as the 4runner. I don't believe that the Tundra arms are going to widen your 4runner.

Yep I think the frame is wider, and the arms are the same length...I measured my dad's Tundra components before and if there were any differences in geometry, it was minor.

This is correct.

The axles are longer, but the control arms are the same width. Toyota actually lists different part numbers between them all, not sure why, but the frame is wider, not the arms.
