Toyota=Ford?
I was told that the Toyota bolt pattern will fit a Ford (6 lug). Is this true?
I just found a great set of Ford 6 lug wheels at a pawn shop, and they are new and only $250 for the wheels and tires. But they are from a ford.
Ayone know about this?
Thanks
Kent

Bolt pattern is the same. Like someone else said, the hole in the center of the rim for the hub is slightly smaller on the Chevy's than on the Toyotas. Also, the backspacing could be an issue since IFS trucks have more backspacing than solid axle trucks. For instance a Toyota IFS rim will not fit a Toyota solid axle truck.

As always when considering rims, the correct backspacing is important. But the center hole on many 6 lug rims are too small. I was given a pair of 6 lug rims for spares and they would not go on the Yota because the center holes were too small. All 6 lug patterns are the same though. Easiest way is to fit one before buying.
