popping sound from front wheel
I have a popping sound coming from the driver side wheel when I turn left. I assume its a bushing or somthing in the steering rack or a arms. It doesn't seem to be a problem, but I'd like to replace whatever parts are worn. Any ideas what the sound is? Its probably a common thing for high milage trucks.

Steering stops.
They're notorious on the 2nd gens and IIRC I had the same problem on my '99.
Glob on some grease or try and order some of the stupid little plastic covers that are supposed to stay on but never do.
Do a search for "turning popping steering" and see what you come up with.

Ill look at the sway bar. But it makes the sound when I barely start to turn. Not into the turn yet at all. I doubt its my CVs. They are obvious when they go bad.
