oil pressure

i have a question i have an 84 toyota pickup with a 22re efi engine and the oil pressure is really low when ever you drive it. is that just a trait for an 84 toyota or does something need to be replaced i just wanted to make sure that there could be a chance its just a trait for that year of truck before i go spending money to replace something.

Oil pressure should be between 36-71 PSI @ 3,000 RPM.
At idle it's about 3-4 PSI.

As you can see low oil pressure while driving is a problem.

It's possible the oil pressure sensor is failing and providing incorrect info.
Suggest you replace the oil sensor.
