Muffler Suggestion

Muffler Suggestion
For those of you considering doing a custom exhaust, then you might try a Spintech muffler. Their website is www.spintechmufflers.com I've used them on 2 of my past vehicles, both were V-8's. Bare none they are the best muffler I've ever used. They don't look fancy but their flow is amazing. In flowtests they outflow all other mufflers, including Borla by a few CFM's.
A note to you Flowmaster fans... Flowmaster mufflers have some of the worst flow of ANY aftermarket muffler. I've used flowmaster as well in the past on High h.p. V-8's and their is a definite difference between a Spintech or Borla muffler and a Flowmaster.
Spintech has several models avaiable, some are VERY loud and some are quite. They have a Sport Truck /SUV muffler that I suspect might sound nice on the 3.4L.
Anyway, just thought I'd pass this info along to some of you people looking around. I'm sure Dynomax and magnaflow work well on these trucks, but I think people will be VERY impressed with the Spintech. #1 muffler in my book.

this is a debate that I hear day in and day out in Hawaii. One of the oldest and best shops swear by thier flowmaster (so do I). But a young and up and comming shops says thier spintech is better. Each shop talks trash, but one shop has evidence over the other. Case in point: the older shop with experince removed a spintech off a '04 hemi that the younger shop put in not 3 days before, the owner was very dissapointed. The guys who owned the hemi bout flows and was happy as a clam.
I stand by flowmaster, a bench test is done with water, to show flowing of a system. And the way a spintech is desinged, it flows water well. But exhuast is desinged to flow gases/ air, so I see thier desing as useless. The chambers on the flows are deisnged to have the ideal flowing design. The chambers create the corect amount of let through air, while still creating the backpressure needed. So my vote goes to flows, BUT CORRECT ME ID IM WORNG!!!!!
BTW im pulling my flow master for a borla, my flow is to loud
