Info on CA-emission 02 sensors for 99+
I've been reading quite a bit about mileage improvement w/ a new front 02 sensor. Knowing that my truck is from California, I was a little worried that I have a air/fuel ratio sensor rather than the typical 02 sensor. For those that don't know, this is pretty much the same thing (as I've been told) but just more expensive.
I confirmed w/ 1sttoyotaparts.com (by giving them my VIN) that I do need the more expensive air/fuel ratio sensor and list price is $205. Internet price is $148. I decided to check URD as many of you have gone there for the Denso 02 sensor. Price is $190.
All these prices don't include shipping but 1sttoyotaparts.com has no tax and about $8 in shipping.
I will probably order up soon but just hoping to help others out w/ the research.

I didn't see a difference in MPG with a new O2 sensor... My vehicle is a 49 state emissioned vehicle so I didn't spend as much... Maybe the A/F sensor would make a difference... No idea but it didn't help my MPG for crap....

The guy at the dealer said that I definitely have a Californa emissions truck. Did yours come from out of state?

I had about 80k-85k... I forgot the exact mileage. My vehicle was from Florida.
