One thing about black, it looks dirty faster than anything. It doesn't bother me much (the heat, on the other hand, does), but its something you might want to consider.

You could do a semigloss black... like just paint it a black primer and put a satin clearcoat on it... if done good.. it looks really nice... plus it looks tough, yet, classy. My gixxer is kind of that color... I just shot krylon fusion black on it... the put a thin coat of krylon crystal clear... it looks pretty nice!

DAMN DAMN DAMN!
So many ideas....
You may know that I'm in the process of de-chroming (see my sig... ) and I'm taking care of the door handles and their surrounds today. Next week, I'm having the bumpers powdercoated and I have the Bushwackers flares (blacK) coming in next week, too.
I know that black is a PITA to keep clean, but I still think that all black is kewl as hell. BTW, the chrome trim rings on the wheels are a thing of the past. I took them off a while back...so I should take some new pics.
As it stands now, the only chrome left is the F/R bumpers and the running boards, which like I said, I'm not sure I'm going to keep them on. I like them and they provide the functionality I like. Wheeling with them (which I haven't done YET, except for lots of snow action in and around Chicago when I lived there) is another story. I like how they look, though, but the chrome has to go. I may powdercoat them the same as the bumpers...just haven't decided yet.
I'm definitely leaning towards black...gonna head to the paint shop tomorrow...w00t!
Thanks for all the great input...!

Blackout, black paint, black wheels, black bumpers, black grill, black window trim, black mirrors, tinted windows. Then do clear corners and signals find some decent looking aftermarket taillights take them apart and paint the surrounds (usually chrome or "carbon fiber") with the same black as the body.
