Child's car seat for a 2001 dbl cab Tacoma
Hey guy's, new to this site. Is there anyone out there using a Britax rear facing car seat in there 2001 dbl cab Tacoma. If so, which one. I'm using the Britax "Companion" right now, but my 10 month old is about to outgrow it really soon. I would be interested to know which car seats work well behind the passenger seat without compromising leg room. My 4 yr old also need's a car seat. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the Graco "Nautilus". Is any one using this seat? Thanks for the info!

Can't say if it will fit or not (I have 4runner) but we have the Britax Marathon that has lasted our very tall daughter up to now (3.5 years). And she still fits it (sits in my wifes car). So that might be what you want for you 10 month old. It could compromise legspace but only for the 2 month until you turn face it forward.
For the 4yr old I looked at Nautilus and picked the Britax Frontier instead as I like it better (could fold up armrest and cupholder).
Couldn't you use the seat the 4yr old is giving up for the 10month old?

This is from the Britax site -
The Britax Roundabout® compact convertible car seat is renowned for safety, comfort, and convenience. The seat features side impact protection, which distributes crash forces, shields from vehicle intrusion, and contains the head and body. The Roundabout’s compact size is ideal for use with vehicles with limited rear-seat space.
