95.5 coma, no start, no codes, cel wont flash

Hi all,
I have a 6/95 tacoma. (in a coma) 4 cyl, 2wd, auto, OBD2.
It came to me as a no start. (drove to work and never started again).
cel is on.
couldnt get the cel to flash with a jumper.
have spark,
have fuel,
bought a nice Innova scanner,
it came on as soon as it was plugged into the obd conn under dash. but it couldnt get any info from ecu.
no ID, no codes, no vin.
checked voltages at both obd and oem conn. all ok.
still no cel flash, just solid on.
ECU had water damage on case, but inside looked fine, had ECU rebuilt
installed re done ecu and have the same results.
cel on, wont flash.
have fuel and spark.
scanner boots up when plugged into obd2 and oem conn. but gets no info from ecu.
I think I covered most checks going through this, but Im missing some thing .
Thanks, ken

if the ecu isnt putting codes out then it doesnt seem to be working, have you tried a junkyard ecu to see if you can get it on?

truck is about 30 min away, so testing is a pain.
I could use some pinouts, flow charts, and diagrams if any one has them.

Why hello there Ken.

You can trust the answers you get here much more than that other forum we are on... it's kinda a social club at best.

I'm sure there's got to be a Junk yard near you. I'd try and find another ECU just to try. Otherwise you could be chasing non existent problems all over the place. Because if you're getting spark and have fuel pressure it should at the very least stumble and cough or do something when you crank it. The only excuse is that for some reason the injectors aren't firing. Sounds like your ECU is getting power but is fried still even after that rebuild.

I think you're not getting any more answers since that's really just about all you can do unfortunately.

Could always swap your rolla's engine into it

nearest good yard is like 1 1/2 hours from me. im up in the hills so I have to go down to the valley.
it does kind of try to fire. its not just flat cranking. but its no more then a cough every few rev.
LOL put mine in there.it would be a waste, the truck wouldnt do the thing i do in it
