3.4 L Super Chargers for $1950.00
If anyone is interested my boss has just dropped the price on these to $1950. Let me know if anyone wants one and I will get things going.

At tuscaloosa toyota or any other around here, if you walk in with the SC in hand and don't buy it from them, expect to pay at least $700.
Supposedly, it takes 5-6 hours if you have a socket set, a few other tools, and know how to read and follow the directions.

That is a very good price on a supercharger.
As far as the install goes, you can do it, or just host a wrench-a-thon and get some board members over to give you a hand. $700 is a lot of money, you can buy my fuel kit with that money...

That's pretty cheap from a dealer. Are the prices from Toyota or is it up to each dealer to set prices?
Can someone who has only ever opened the hood to change the windshield wiper fluid install one of these on their own?

SC
Here is how pricing works for our dealership, each one seems to be different. Whatever we get the SC for depends on how much we will sell it for obviously. The thing you have to keep in mind with TRD is the profit is slim to none. The reason we set our prices so low is that we have a HUGE inventory and we want people to know who and where we are. I go a little further with you guys because Yotatech is my pet project and I know ya'll are loyal customers. Every once in a while TRD will give us a better price on superchagers just because, no rhyme or reason on their part they just decide to one day. Now list price for all dealers should be the same but most sale at "trade" price which is much higher in most cases. The only time I will sell at trade price is when my dealer cost is less than $20 because we make barely anything if we charge list. Hope this explains it well enough.

Easy Installation?
Todd,
Was wondering if I were to buy one the shipping price would crank it back up probably?
The other thing is installation. I'm going to assume this isn't something I should attempt having never done any engine work before. The directions couldn't be that stupid simple as to leave me with no question as to what I'm doing, right?

SC
Darx,
Having attended and assisted with many of the SC installations I will say this, you need to have a good working knowledge of your engine. It isn't simple by any means in my opinion, but it isn't impossible if you have a buddy or two helping you that are mechanically inclined. On the shipping, give me your address and I will see exactly what it would be. I will give you a good deal, don't worry.
