long slip front drive shaft

im looking for a long slip front drive shaft. needs to be a few inches longer than stock. i still have a single case. needs to be the 85 and up bolt pattern.

....square, round whatever. mainly only concerned about it being long slip. i can shorten or lengthen if i need to.

there has to be people out there that had a long slip shaft made when they had a single case and then went to dual cases and has no use for the old one anymore.

thought i'd try here before buyng a long slip kit or building a square one because ill eventually go to duals myself.

help me out...thanks ahead of time.

ps. im in indiana.

Most folks just lengthen the front when they go to duals...real easy to do. Square is easy enough and easy to shorten when going to duals... OR if you dont want the sloppyness of a square one. Go to your local Tractor Supply store and grab some PTO shaft material... REAL beefy and perfect spline engagement. Bump for ya either way.

when going to duals don't you have to shorten the rear and lengthen the front?

That would work a bit better.

I think Marlin sells a long travel yoke that's weld on to the existing shaft.. It's like +3in or so..
