i would be kinda concerned about the stock gearing, i run 31x10.50's and its barely acceptable for me and all those little hills you never noticed, I soon found out i had to downshift on most hills to maintain speed at 60mph.

it should do alright in 4-lo, other than putting alot of stress on the driveline, and with tires that wide, the rim will spin inside the tire, if it happens in mud and grass, it gets caught in the bead and causes it to leak.

i learned this from my old dodge ramcharger, it was my first 4x4 and i didnt know better.
I ordered a set of 33"x13.50" swamper tsl ltb's and four 'add-a-leaf' springs. i still ended up trimming the inside of the fender wells to make the tires clear when making sharp turns.

first thing i notice is, the power was gone, just to pull a boat up a big hill and it would ˟˟˟˟ (automatic) all the way down to 1st gear.
i would have thought 33"s would work, surely they put 3.73's, 3.55's or at least 3.23' gears in these things. HELL NO, i looked under the truck and translated the tags, it had 3.04 or 3.0-something gears in it.
then i learned the hard way that wide 33"'s will slip when mounted on a 7" wide stock rim.
so eventually i got wider rims, 1" longer shackles, made a tube bumper with a winch, dual exhaust, kc lights and all sorts of little mods and what did i have.
I had a truck that looked cool, and that was it.
I also had a truck that broke drivetrain, wallowed out the rear seal on the tranny resulting in a $700 rebuild, broke 3 driveshafts and got < 10mpg city.

I never could afford $$$ to have the axles re-geared, and the axles sucked anyway, motor gave out from all the strain on it and i sold it for most of what i put into it, not bad for a truck that didnt run, but hey, it looked cool.
but i can take my stock 4runner places that that open differentialed dinosaur would get stuck on the way too. i wish i had just left that dodge stock.
