Anyone looking to do a Mercedes diesel swap?
An old high school friend of mine is doing this. Here's the email he sent me:
"Hey I'm going to have a machine shop make me a run of 5-6 flywheel adapters/pilot bushing holders/drill guides to swap on OM617 mercedes diesel into a 22R/RE toy truck. I'll be selling them for $125 ea shipped in a flat rate box. With this adapter a person only needs a steel plate and a set of center punches to get the engine-trans bolted up. Know anybody that would be interested?"
I'm way past the point of no return with this 4.3 swap. But I thought I'd pass it along in case anyone else was interested. Let me know, and I'll make sure you get in touch with him.
