ITS ALIVE!!!!!
i got the truck going this past sunday been driving it every day since and its doing great! the 4.10's are soooooooooo much better. just partial throttle not getting into boost the truck scoots compared to the old gears. i did hit like 5psi in 2nd at low rpm and it started to sink me in the seat pretty good!!! havent rev'ed it that high yet because it has new rod bearing. gonna give it about 500 miles before a lay into it. also got a efan on it now too. the 7m in such a light rig is so much fun!!! the torque of that engine pushes that thing like nothing! pic to come.....

yeah actually both trucks were a steal!!! i didn't end up selling anything off the square body truck. i did get a set of wheels/tires, body lift, and a 8" under perch rear! which is sorta rare i guess. i might use it but still considering all options. gonna see how the 7.5" rear holds up before i do anything though.

^for sure! i'll post a vid this weekend. i have a couple pics from my phone but they sorta suck. i'll get better ones up
this is the spare head i had laying around. its been milled, the exhaust studs helicoiled, and the valves adjusted to spec.
heres a pic of the bottom end i got from the picknpull. all i did to it was change the rod bearings, shimmed the oil pump, and called it good. its not burning any oil or smoking yet either! the felpro hg is chillin on the deck.
assembled long block.
right after we dropped it in.

when i checked at the auto parts store they dont make the right 5m motor mount, are they the same? also can you post up some pics of how you mounted your intercooler and piping

yes the 5m motor mounts are the same but you dont need those. what you want is the motor mount BRACKETS. left and right are different with those. the exhaust side uses 3 bolts and the intake side uses 4 to the block. i got the set in the pic for like 50 shipped from the fs section on celicasupra.com. and you use the 5m brackets with the 22re motor mounts. ill get some pics up sometime soon.
