Where's the block drain plugs?

3.0 V6, 1994 4x4

I've searched from under the truck and from the sides (wheel wells) and I cannot find those f@#$%^** DRAIN PLUGS!

I've got the service manual which shows a lame sketch of the side of the block with a wrench on a bolt, but it's not very clear just where on the side of the block it is.

Can anyone provide illumination?

On the 3.4L its a 14mm brass plug right in front of the passenger's side motor mount. 3.0's have a very similar block, so I'd check there first.
