Talking Any kayakers out there?

I just bought a nice little kayak this weekend. Plan to use it quite a bit this year. Since my 4runner build is going so slow (funds are a little tight with the new baby this year) I plan to take advantage of a little cheaper and relaxing past time.

I just wanted to see if any of you local guys had kayaks and/or canoes? If so, I am looking for new/exciting trips. I really float the Kings river and Sugar Creek in Missouri a bit. I've never been on some of the others like the Illinois or the Buffalo. If anyone would be interested in getting together for a float trip maybe we could have a float/camp trip in the upcoming months.

Anyone?

Here is what I bought. I plan to pimp it out with lots of fishing accessories...

I'm all about canoeing. I've kayaked before... and it's apparent that it takes more skill and attention than I possess.

I have a couple sit-on-top kayaks I fish from. I wish I had brought my kayak with me when I visited my grandparents in Ft. Smith. There are tons of good fishing spots, but it looked like most are inaccessible by boat or from shore. Thats what I love about kayaks!!

If anyone hits the whitewater, I am always up for that. Couple of good places around the midwest depending upon how much rain we get.
I have an older dagger crossfire.

Here's mine. Unfortunately, I don't get to go out very often.

I've been out in it 4 times now. Been paddling around the Bella Vista lakes. Also went on the Elk River 3 weeks ago and the Little Sugar Creek yesterday. The water is perfect IMHO.
