Alt Rebuild

Hey, does anyone know where to buy internal parts for an alternator? I would like to rebuild mine myself. It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult. Specifically I need the internal regulator for a 95 toyota 4runner alt. Thanks!

So everybody just pays the 115+ bucks for a reman alt?
