84 22re cranks but wont start
Just built my truck.. Drove it for the first time on Saturday about 30 miles. ran great. Got home and went back out again for a short drive. it kept blowing the engine fuse..(kept running with engine fuse blown) replaced fuse and it was ok for a block or two and did it again. Got it home and found the wires going to the back up light were shorting out on the tranny. I drove it up and down the street to see if it would blow the fuse again. it ran ok but then died like it was out of fuel. Coasted beck home and can't get it to start now. Fuses are all good, has spark, has fuel to the rail, tested the feed going to the cold start injector and it has power. I checked the #1 injector to see if it is getting a pulse and it is not... I am stumped please help... Thanks

If your truck has a solenoid resistor check to see if its good, if its bad the injectors won`t work. The solenoid resistor went out in my 86 4Runner and wouldn`t start, it acted like your problem were it was running fine and then nothing. I had an extra one laying around and try`d it and my 4Runner started on the first try.
