What is this skid plate from?

An old roommate of mine left a skid plate in my yard and I am not sure what it was from. It was either his 85 pickup or 98 4runner. Any help? Both trucks are wrecked now so I am going to sell it, but want to know what it is first. Thanks!

Looks like it's from an 85' solid axle rig.

I just checked it, its not from an FJ80. I have no clue to be honest.

But solid axle rigs still have mid-body skids on the transmissions, and transfer cases.

assuming your 87 is IFS, then yes it will fit. It should fit all 86-95 pickups.

It just sits on the bottom of the frame under the front of the engine and over the front sway bar. Just helps keep rocks and mud out of the engine compartment and lets hot air from the radiator out through those vents.
