Switching 22r to 22re

How hard is it to switch a 22r to a 22re, what has to be done?

you would need to either swap the wiring harness or add the required wiring for the computer and EFI and related sensors to work. It can be done, a few people here have done it.

are you talking about making a carb into a efi or just looking for another motor and wondering if a carb and efi are any different like block and stuff?

I was told that you would have to put a new gas tank and lines in? do you really have to do that.

i think that you would just have to put in a new fuel pump in the tank if it would fit. if not then yes you would. because a carb takes about 7-10 psi at the most to run a efi has to have 35-40 psi to start
