Best off road wax?

Anyone have any experience with a magic vehicle wax that keeps your rig "spray wash" clean for at least a little while? I use turtle wax and although it works well, it doesn't stand up for very long, maybe 3 or 4 trail rides if it rained at all in the last week. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't expect a one year wax job, but just something that might work a little better.

Thats funny waskillywabbit, but seriously some of us mall cruisers want to keep our paint. : - ) Boon have you tried Maguires wax and polish? Try using the polish first to remove oxidation, wash the vehicle thoroughly after polish, then wax.It should hold a considerable amount of abuse from mudding and then washing. But your talking about at least a half day doing this,in the shade of course on cool paint and no humidity.

Look for a synthetic wax, aka 'paint sealant'. They last a lot longer than traditional waxes.

Silver, I'll have to check out maguires. And I like a clean truck every once in a while, glad I'm not alone.
BMcEL, I'll start looking for a synthetic wax now. Thanks all for the input!

Adams car care buttery wax

My runner gets a bath right before the top comes off, and right after it goes on. The rain keeps the truck looking good the rest of the time. Also you will get more life out of a sealant like BMCel said, but you also need to prep the paint for it as well.

Meguiars Tech Wax 2.0. It's actually more of a sealant because it's made of synthetic polymers. That stuff will keep you paint SLICK. Two vey thin coats works best.
