Where to buy synthetic gear oils

So I've been through the forums and am glad because I was about to dump GL-5 into my 5spd and transfer case. I know not a huge deal on the xfer case but why risk a leak. Now i'm trying to find out where to buy the right stuff, Autozone, cskauto, all the local spots don't seem to carry GL-4.

i'd say go to napa or car quest and have them order it for you. those two stores are where dealerships and pro shops get their parts from so they're a good source!

No dice at napa or carquest (at least online). Looks like it's Jegs or Summit

I used Castrol synthetic from Orielly's.
It was only about $10 a quart.

I saw the Orielly's stuff but it wasn't GL4 for the 5spd. I caved in and bought it online from Summit last night for $132 with shipping. 5qts Heavyweight Shockproof for the diffs and 6 qts MT-90 for the 5spd and trans case.

The subtotal was $140 from redline without shipping or tax. Using the cheapest conventional GL5 ONLY oils I could find at the local shop still would have been right at $70. It's a lot to pay for oil but my 5spd shifts like crap so we'll see how she does with 230k mi on her.

I recently replaced the oil in my differentials with Amsoil GL-5 (80w90). I placed the order online and drove down to the local Amsoil warehouse to pick it up.

Since they don't have a dist center in Phoenix, you'd have to get it shipped, of course.

Ya online was the best price, for redline oil anyways from Summit. I was short on MT-90 however and used redline's dealer locater. Found Carrol Shelby Enterprises downtown selling them at list. Posting this as reference for the Phoenix peeps.
