want to run 31's --what gear do i need?

probably a bit much for now. But roads I used to be able to maintain 65 in 5th with the 225/75's require a shift down to 4th to keep speed. I'm just looking at the future: I do plan on larger tires, probably 33's to fill the wheel wells since I've got a 4" bracket lift... and might even be adding long travel on top of that in the next few months... but am aiming at a 33-34" tire when I'm done so having to deal with being over-geared for a while is just a little bit of fun.

that thing will be a lil race car for the time being with 488's and 30's lol

how do you know what the gears are by the vin? like i know how to read the vin for the engine and the tranny but what do i look for for hte gears? i am intersted to find out whats in my truck lol
