I had the original 22re in my truck when I first bought it. About a year ago I found the stock ct20 (I believe) on e bay, had the engine rebuilt and modded for the turbo and it has worked fine. Recently the turbo has been sounding pretty bad. I did some research and found that the ct26 supra turbo is preferred over the 20. I have just purchased one and am wondering if it will pretty much bolt up to the ct20 manifold? (plug and play). Also wondering if it can be adjusted as to not cause engine damage? I pretty much want it there because it needs to take place of the bad one that sounds like crap and if it is adjusted lower will I still be needing an intercooler? thanks techies
