pickup IFS beefing
so i dont want to go through the hassle of putting a straight axel on my daily driver yet but i still want to wheel it. i want to beef up the IFS so its more durable and i was told to upgrade my cv shafts to a t100 cv shafts
i was just wondering what year do i pull them of if i have an 87
any input for me

I never have heard anything of using T100 CV's, porsches I have heard of.
What you can do is get a idler arm brace, better and larger tie rods,get an IFS brace made by sonoran steel and such.

where would i find bigger and better tie rods could i junk yard them off another bigger truck ? BTW i just ordered the the truss/brace for the ifs thanks alot

Stock CV's are fine if your angles are good. If the angles are bad (ie too much droop) no "stronger" CV is gonna save ya.
The BEST way to beef up the early IFS is LEAVE IT ALONE. Keep the lift to nothing, and the angles will maximize the strength of the stock system.
Steering is the issue. Beef up the idler arm - if you don't want to ever worry about it, get the Total Chaos one, otherwise, get the bronze bushings and a brace and understand that it will probably still wear out/break. Upgraded tie rods (ends and adjuster sleeves) are next.

for a cheap build run BJ spacers , some nice bilstiens, a nice set of mudders, idler arm brace and a total chaos a-arm brace, (if can can afford to get some skid plates and armor) i've got about 50 trips on my stock cv's youll be fine.
