my first turbo truck and need help

so i just bought an 87 4runner turbo and all the vacuum lines seem to be in the wrong spots. i want to re-due them all but and having a hard time finding where they all go. i search on here and google to find vac diagrams but they don't show all the lines on the truck. i also tried looking up pictures of the engine itself but have alot of them to differ. for example there is a sensor on the valve cover which i believe is the VSV but i don't see it in all the pictures. also there is two vac lines that run off to some place under the battery area but i cant get a clear picture of what they are attached too. could really use your guys help. thanks in advance.

Welcome to YT--turbo truck--yep am a little bit jeolous
You might have some luck finding the vacuum diagrams with this Service Manual link hopefully you will find the diagrams you need there, several FSM's to select from

Post up some pics of your 4runner when you get the chance

try the autozone website for your vacuum diagrams.

this should be the right one: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/rep...00c1528004d55a

lol i'll post some pics up tomorrow for you guys. um the only problem with the vac diagrams from autozone or anywhere else it seems like is that they do not show all the vacuum lines on the car. only the ones that are emission specific i think.

I tried to figure that out one day, even called my friend at the dealership. I can't figure it out. In total there are like 3 or 4 temp sensors on this motor. that 2nd one on the neck connects to the body on my truck. Not sure why.

I also ended up BUYING a FSM for the turbo trucks just so I had vacuum diagrams. You don't want to know what it cost.
