lifted 89 pickup cv axle problem

i recently replaced my front drivers side cv axle and within about an hour of off roading noticed the boot was yet again ripped. im wondering what is causing this the only thing i can think of is maybe because my truck has alot of lift and is causing too much of an angle and pinching the boot.

Yeah im guessing the angle is too steep. Do you have BJ spacers?

Ball joint spacers will not really affect the CV joint angles, given the same lift w/ or w/o the spacers:

A front differential drop might help lessen the angles at a given lift height:

Im pretty sure BJ spacers affect the angle.

Are your torsion bars maxed out?
