Help!!! buying First Gen 4Runner

Hey guys i might be buying a 89 4runner, i just sold my wrangler and want to get into a 4runner. I just went and looked at one, 89 blue 6cyl AT with 175k AC power windows, sunroof, 31'' bfg atkos mybe 80% treat. The body is in great shape and the paint looks good for the year only thing is the power windows on the passenger side and rear window don't work " they are down and wont go back up" and the windshield only has a few nicks. Over all it seems to run and drive great. She was asking 2500 for it and i only got to talk her down to 2200, i was wondering is this a good buy for a 6cyl 89 or not???? and dose anyone know what would be wrong with the windows????? any info and input would be rockin.

Thanks
Ryan

i know the driver side motor can be swapped out for the rear window.. atleast in a gen 2 4door it can...
try putting 12 volts tot hemotor and see if it moves that way.. could be dirt switches or bad motors...

most people say to get the 4banger...

where are you located??? maybe someone is selling a 4runner on here?

I bought my 85 4runner for $2,100. Keep saving and wait for a 4cyl with a manual transmission. EFI if you want it, and if you want one that is SFA equipped look for an 84 or 85 model. 85's have SFA and EFI. I'd either wait for a better deal or try and talk her down more.

i think you should offer her 2000 grand cash unless its is certifired...

or keep looking now is the time to get a solid axle or a 22re.. the right truck will find you!

unless you need one asap!

Buy it for $2200. I would. It's not a bad deal. It looks good and lower mileage (175,000 is low for an 89). A/C works (you'll need this in AZ).
