1999 4runner

hello all, ive got a 99 4runner w/ 3.4v6 automatic 2wd. somtimes when i start it, it does not want to idle. when i start it now, i tend to give it a little throttle just before it fires( it usually turns over about a second before starting),and this seems to work most of the time. it somtimes starts succesfully regardless if i give it a little throttle or not. when it malfunctions, i can keep it running buy blipping the throttle or holding it open a little, but if i lift off gas, she will stumble and die almost immediatly. also, when it starts and wants to die, i can rev it up with a big blip blip to 3000-3500 real qwick and this somtimes seems to cure the issue. this usually happens on cold starts, but has definatly happened on warm and hot starts. also, after about a 10 mile drive when running proper driven sorta hard on the street, i braked fairly hard for a corner, went to turn, and realized she had stalled. when i restarted by putting in neutral and starting while still moving, it kept stalling. when it started to run ok, the next corner i braked hard for, it had the same behavior. if i start her and the problem doesnt crop up, she runs perfect. it seems to be happening more and more frequently with time. this is my first post, and i appreciate any help anyone can give on this subject. i had a ford worktruck that i took to ford dealerships 5 different times for them to replace my injectors, 1 at a time, because they couldnt diagnose a failing fuel pump. this is why i come here, to gain a little knowledge and try to troubleshoot this, with your help of course, without getting messed with by the dealerships. thanks in advance for taking time to answer this.
