got the yota back togather

well i got my yota back togather but now it only will start with starting flud it has gas the fuel pump is working but it wont start only with starting flud does eneyone have and idele of want it is that is wrong please help me

yep it trys to start but it wont it will start with starting flud

what repairs did you just finish? You sure you cycled the key enough times to let the fuel pump get the system fully primed back up? Mine took a lot of cycles and crankin before it built enough fuel pressure back up to fire and run pretty.

it will run if u hold the key on but dies when u let go of it

i changed the head on it it run before but now it wont

Do you have the air intake hose hooked up? It wont run unless air is goin thru the airflow meter. If your spraying starting fluid in it it makes me think its not hooked up

it runs now but its flooding out and i`ve tryed everything to fix it

When you say flooding, like itll barely run flooding or gas is comin out of places it shouldnt be flooding?

The way your post first started sounded exactly like my problem i fixed yesterday. I just got done trying to do a nice write up on how to fix it starting with easy to harder steps. It is on one of my last few post on my 86 build if you want to try a few of them steps.
