4runner rear coils on my 86 Pickup????

Heres the deal, I have a 95 4runner with a 4-5 inch rough country lift on it that got totalled but I still have it for the parts. I Picked up a front ifs lift for the 86 pick up I have, I was wondering how hard it would be to take the lift coils off the runner and make some mounts for coils. I have not seen anyone do it before, just trying to save money. Any help and input would be greatly appriciated
thanks

search zuk mod. you could take out all the leaves on the spring pack and use the main to locate the axle and shove the coils in over the bumps, ive put stock coils on a saggy old 4runner to lift it up and it rode great

If you want to run just the coils no leaf springs you will need a link system, not much cheap about that. What kind of fab skills you got? Chevy 63" or Allpro both require new spring hangers front mounts and rear. Not difficult bet requires welding.

Or you can take leafs out of one pack and add them to the other.
