Driver side mirror glass

I have been looking high and low for a mirror glass replacement for my 1987 4runner SR5 4x4 but I keep getting nothing for my 4runner. I have power mirrors so I do not want the cheapy 20 dollar manual Assembly. I just need the mirror glass. Has anybody tracked down a part number or a place to get one?

Please help I felt like I was driving with an eye patch on today lol

Ok so what about 84-89 toyota pick ups do they share the same glass?

Man is there anyone out there that has maybe found one somewhere besides the junk yard?

If I find a pick up in the yard will that work?

I have a freakin 64 falcon that has more available parts than my runner wtf

I broke my driver's side power mirror on vacation 10 years ago and had a replacement cut at a glass shop. I removed the mirror from the frame and glued the new one in. Mirror is still there and holding strong. Quick and cheap.

I had one cut for a T-100 at a local glass shop, a while back for 15.00 installed .Part stores also carry the mirror glass for several differant models. my neighbor bought one for his Gmc for 70.00 with heat and turn indicator at the glass shop .

Has anyone found a part number that will fit the 1st gen runners?

Any alternate mirrors?

Ima call toyota tommorow and if I get any good news I will post what ever part number I find on here.

I might be able to help you out. A nearby yard has one, I think 88 with a black power mirror with about a 1/2" triangle shaped crack initial. I would have grabbed the mirror except for the crack. If you can tell me how to get the glass out without breaking it or if you want the whole mirror I can get it next time I am there, possibly within a week or two.

I just bought one for $100. I found 2 on line, one for 25% more and one for 50% more. I have dissected a few of these and do not recommend trying to remove the glass. Get the whole mirror, sell it, make some money, while helping out someone at the same time. Please save this rare part.

i broke my mirror when i flipped my truck on its side. I found one in great shape for my 92 4runner. When i was at the auto junk yard, they had a few other 4runners with good mirrors. it was $20 for the electric mirror.

I might go back Monday, let me know if u want me to check if they have one for you're truck. If you have a picture of the exact so i can make sure it is it.
