Many of the connectors are still available from the dealer. The connectors have a 5 digit number on them. The connector part numbers are 90980-xxxxx, with the last 5 digits being the number on the connector.
For example, if you look closely at the coolant temperature sender connector, you will see the number 10737. You can order this as part number 90980-10737.

If your replacing the plastic connectors you need to remove the pins be they male or female and install them in the new plastic connector.
unless your doing something different
these connectors get brittle from thermal cycling on these older trucks quite a few of mine are held together with black tape
Since a new harness can no longer be bought for my 87 4Runner
