Removing LCA with a twist.

We'd just done all the tough stuff and we were heading out off the trail. There was one rock sticking up that I thought was loose and thought I'd probably clear anyways. I was tired and misjudged it and hit the rock in 2nd gear low range. It bend the front LCA frame bracket.

To fix this, I'm going to need to remove the LCA, but the damage is preventing me from fixing the bracket.

Here's how it should be.

Here's the one that kissed a boulder a little too intimately.

The alignment still held tight and it is not affecting driveability in the least. I just don't want to chew up the LCA bushing and have no means to replace it.

might be able to get in there with a flat pry bar and pull it out. maybe using the short, hooked side and twist the bar.

It would take a torch AND a BFH I think. The problem now is getting that LCA out.
