My cure for cancer, what do you think?
First things first, Merry Christmas!! But anyways, the huge rust spots on my bed finally bugged me enough to make me do something about it, so seeings that I can get beds all day in my area, i decided to chop mine. I still need to clean up the cuts and prime and paint everything, im also losing the stock mud flaps and getting some bigger ones. The lines look funny in pictures, but in person i think it looks half decent. Any suggestions?

Thats the kind of feed back I am looking for im looking for. I have had a few people tell me that, I think I might go ahead and get rid of the factory curve. I also plan on RhinoLining the bottom half of my cab and bed (or whats left of it anyways).

Dork Mobile ehh? When I said I was looking for feedback I meant constructive, not elementary school burns. Thanks any ways. And i am sure I will get a bed when the time comes, unlike some people im not all about looks and whatnot. And mud flaps are required where I live.

mudflaps actually serve a purpose, especially if you drive in crap conditions or deal with mud regularly, so i say get flaps, the bigger the better.
Also I am mixed on what to do next; one part of me says square up/true up the cuts, make it look pretty from right there- or make a nice , big arc, to meet up with the end cuts you have right now, and make a nice big arc-ing design to it.

I think it looks alright. especially if ur gonna wheel it. why replace something that could potentially get damaged anyways? X2 on the cutting higher. just enough to take out the line. as for the Rhino lining? it will look something like this only textured and less pixleated.

Eh, i would be a little embarassed to drive that around.
Although you did solve the rust problem, you now have a gigantic fenderwell..
I think you should make a flatbed, or get some fiberglass bed-sides at this point.
no rust, easily painted white, and i guess they're fairly cheap.

the point in chopping it up is that its cheaper than the flatbed. spend money elsewhere. lockers, gears, duals?...etc.. Function over form at this point IMO...

Well, you could cut it across in a straight line from the back of the cab to the tailgate. A number of guys who wheel their rigs do that to open up the quarter panels to make room for their tires. Almost a flat bed hybrid sort of.
For aesthetics I would cut a straight line all the way across and leave the doors white.
