I'm running a 60mm TB with a late model plenum. I swapped the motor at the same time, so I can't indicated a difference over stock.

Anyone know what the area of the flapper door on the AFM is?

LC and DOA both offer overbored throttle bodies at around $280, or you can adapt one from a 5m or 7m Supra, I believe... Bang for the buck, it's not going to be my first mod.

No but it gets rid of the Stupid un-needed factory bends, Plus the un-needed Intake pipe diameter changes (they go from almost 3" to 2.75" to 2" back to almost 3" again)

As for moving the intake further into the engine bay, you will greatly reduce power as you will be sucking in hot engine bay air. BAD IDEA

Wouldn't the "inner fender" snorkel have the same result as moving the intake back into the enging bay? Where does it pull the air from? The engine bay?

In my case, I have the air pulling in from the cowl area. So not getting engine bay air, basiclly the same place the interior ventilation fan gets its air from. Moves the air intake point back and up from stock. I used to pull air from the fender itself, but found that too dirty and was constantly having to pull and clean the air filter.

cool, what about rain water in the vents? Does that effect the snorkel?
and how is it routed in your actual airbox.

Full details on the web page. Rain is not a problem, I installed drain tubes below the level of the intake to keep water from building up to that level (have heard of folks who did not do this having trouble). Air tube exits the side of the air bos where the stock intake tube used to exit. Just when you move the box to the other side of the engine bay, the intake hole is to the outside, right where it needs to be.
