How to deal with a rounded tranny fill bolt...
#22
I got the sucker out. I went to the store and got a set of grip-tite bolt extractors. After a little nudging, the sucker came right off with a good smack.
I got a replacement fill plugs from the dealership for 4 bucks and then I just put some anti seize on both.
What I totally did not expect was the amount of tranny fluid that came gushing out as I unscrewed the FILL plug. Atleast a quart and a half came out of that damn hole, so whoever filled it up before overfilled it. The fluid was also black and quite smelly. I filled it up with some fresh MT-90 from redline and she shifts a little bit smoother now.
