so im looking through here, and hear mixed results about fipk, and i dont want to spend 160 on it either lol so i think im gonna make my own. i already have the adapter planned out to hook the MAF to the element. there isnt much room, so i was thinking opf having 3inch pipe bent so i can put it right where i want it. i was wondering if any of you would post a pic of a homemade setup, i appreciate it thanks

I don't have a homeade setup, but I will sell you a genuine K&N cone filter from a 3.0 FIPK cheap if ya want.

thanks, but i think im gonna start out by trying the deck plate mod, i think i can get it to fit on my air box.

do you have the 3.0, if so there are a bunch of different threads on here about homemade intakes call the ISR mod. search for it. i made mine for free but i know you can buy one from one of the members up here (i forgot his name) for 75.

he has a 22re...... i had a exhasut shop bend me up a intake tube for my 22re it worked great
