brake load sensor bypass
can anyone give me a link or detailed instructions on bypassing the load sensor in the rear of an 88 yota pick up? hammerheads06@yahoo.com

depending on how your rear breaks are setup it may not be adviseable. before i swaped axles in my truck i had virtually no rear breaking. i simply disconeected the arm from the axle and screwed it up onto the bottom of the bed. that provided the right amount of ballance i felt. but when i swiched axles the breaks actually worked in on this one and it locks up to easly with no load in the rear.

well heres the deal, i bought a pick up(very beat up) and have built it into quite a machine but when i bought it it wasn't hokked up (lpvs) so now to make my rear brakes work i want to just bypass it, so thats it in a nutshell, i really need to do this soon

You can just run a single line to the rear, and get a manual prop valve, and adjust as needed. Mine was rusted solid, so I trashed it. If you add a hydraulic ball-valve, you can trash all that parking brake crap also. Then, just step on the brakes and turn the handle 1/4 turn for a parking brake.
