headgasket ?
so i posted on here and talked to a few guys at work and figured my antifreeze going into the exhaust was the headgasket especially as it got worse. so i took the head of it today and the gasket looked fine except where i tore it a bit when i was taking the head of. could that mean the head is cracked? i didnt have a chance to put a straight edge to it yet so it could be warped too. is there anywhere i should look for cracks? it was only leaking into the exhaust the coolent wasnt going into the oil or anything.

i would take the head to a machine shop and have it checked out. if theres nothing wrong then it should be cheap. but if there is something wrong with it, you will be glad you had it checked out

u cant always tell by looking at the gasket if it was blown or not, like toyota 1 said i would take the head to a machine shop and have it looked at, also make sure your intake manifold to head gasket isnt split allowing coolant to suck into the port

so i striped the head down yesterday to take it to a machine shop to get checked. gonna run it in to them today. i broke a bolt taking the intake manifold of so i'm hoping they can get that out too. is there anywhere i can get a vacumn hose diagram? thats the only thing i'm worried about in getting it back together i labled a couple of them but i noticed a few came of places i didnt notice. i priced a headgasket only $32 but can you buy a kit with all the gaskets since the intake one is kinda rough too? anyone know what it would cost? be nice to replace all of them while its apart.

mines carbed so i think the vacumn hoses would be different then those pics. the shop i brought the head too thinks the head may be cracked because of where it was leaking,so there gonna do a presure test on it before they do anything else. $45 for the presure test and $20 to clean it. should have cleaned it better myself and saved $20 lol.
