Question exhaust gasket?

Hey, new here, having a bad day...my wife pulled into the driveway and this outragous noise is coming from the drivers side, near the exhaust manifold. Won't idle and sounds like it's about to explode. I didn't think I would have had exhaust manifold gasket trubs, my rig has about 103,500 miles on it. But, I don't know what else it would be. it's a 95 sr5, v6, 3.0, auto...
any ideas....? [I am mechanically challenged. ]

it's sounds loud. I haven't any experience with exhause manifold gaskets, could it be something else ?..the oil pressure has been running low for the last 20,000 or so miles and will only go up as you rev the engine. I'm lost....

well it sounds like a bigger problem than a leaky exhaust gasket

you know I had a 91 truck w/ a 3.0 in it, and the exhaust gasket went in it and I remember that ticking noise you are talking about but, this doesn't have that, it's louder.

I know everyone is on the edge of their seats wondering what happened to my 4runner, well I found a sparkplug popped out, I don't know how it happened but, it must have loosened over time and just popped out.

thanks for your help...

I've been hearing of that happening on the newer trucks with a 3.4L engine. It usually screws up the threads too. You may have to have a helicoil insert in the hole. First I can remember it showing up on the 3.0L.

well, I tried to get the plug back in. Couldn't do it. So I took it to a good mechanic I know , he replaced all the plugs and got me going back on the road for $130.00, I don't think thats to bad. runs better, the guy before me had put in two differant types of sparkplugs. I don't get it...it's a nice rig, why would he do that...everything else works/runs great on it.
Probably get a little better gas mileage/performance...

Some of the 3.4L engines come from the factory with 2 different plugs. One set of 3 on each head. Don't ask me why.
