EFI Harness Score!
I finally took the time to salvage the EFI harness from an 87 runner I flipped over years ago. Don't ask about how it got flipped, it involved a bunch of booze and some very bad decisions (no-one was hurt - these trucks are VERY robust).
Anyway I salvaged almost all of the connectors and the little rubber booties that go with them. Two of the injector connectors (the white ones) on my daily driver (down for more cyl head work) need to be replaced and one of the cold start sensor connectors (brown one) is also toast. All of the connectors I salvaged except one are perfect (though still old). Best thing is that not a single wire from the doner harness was cut. All done very carefully.
I'm not sure what it says about me that I 1) took the time to salvage this stuff and consider it a HUGE score, and 2) went out of my way to shoot pics and post them. That is a pretty crappy pic I must say. Those connectors look MUCH better in person.
I am spending too much time with my Toyota(s)...
