Code 25...Looking for opinions
Ok... Here I go again with another novel, if anyone remembers my post last week I just redid most of my motor in my 94 22re. Got it all back together had some issues, Anyway long story short, Got it running and took it on a 700+ mile trip to Carlisle All Truck Nationals the next morning, Did great for the first time in 8 months with only a few flaws, Noticed a few things though. #1 smokes on start up, thinking valve seals. #2 If it sits idle for sometimes just sits. It stumbles, almost like its loading up, one good rev to clear it out and its fine. And new problem on the last 2 days. Couple times when I press the clutch in the come to a stop it will idle at like 2000 rpms, till I blip the throttle one time, and it comes on down. Kinda mades me think TPS, and then today it throws a code 25. Which confuses me, since 25 means lean and it seems to be loading up. Also think theres a chance I killed the o2 last week when I had all my problems trying to get it to start. Any ideas or advice?
Heres to link to my previous post for insight on what all I have replaced

Well I think if you killed the O2 sensor it may be thinking it running lean so then it dumps more fuel...Just a thought.
The dashpot maybe sticking keeping the idle up or the TB

The oil leak prolly fauled the o2 a little bit it might fix if changed. It sounds to me like your idle speed is not set properly. It should be aboud 750-800 but anything less than 1000 is ok. Hows your timing? It maybe a bit on the low side advance it a little bit. No more than 12BTDC. Dirty air filter from your trip? Throttle seems to be sticking. a simple cleaning of plate may help.

Idle speed is perfect 99% of the time, sets right about 850, and a little lower when the e-fan and compressors are running even with 170 amp alternator. With the dash pot off completly idle only stuck on me one time, and a simple tap on the gas and it idles normal, still got stumbly on me twice, both times after it was shut off for a short time, (ie running into walmart real quick) But as usual rev it and clear it out one time and it seems fine, I also noticed tonight there was what looked like a wet spot on the pavement next to my truck,(exhaust is side exit and kinda points down) when I started it up and let it run about 3-4 mins to build up air (Got switch happy before I parked it) Need to check timing, last day before the trip I thew another dizzy in the truck trying to touble shoot, and set it by sound, like I said this stuff only happens a few times, Most of my 80 round trip commute every day is fine. Air filter is nice and clean, Its got an intake on it so its a cone filter. Next day off is Tuesday Im gonna try and clean the tb and make sure nothing is sticking, Cant afford a new o2 right now, might get the one off my 93 parts truck and give it a shot. Also the check engine light went off today. And hasnt come back on in 80 miles. Anything think my somewhat short exhaust could cause a problem? I guess with the bends in it its really not that short

I'm having the same issue.. ( I think, the tech @ Emissions place said I was running lean ( explains the high CO, and that the high Nox reading is a result of a slightly high op temp ) except I can't get the diagnostics box to throw any codes at me.. I'm almost certain I'm doing something wrong, but Shorting pins and stuff is something I'm super familiar with..so I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. :-/
( The truck failed emissions, that's why I'm freaking out about this.. I'm supposed to leave in 2 weeks, and without getting it through emissions, I can't register the damn thing, and if I can't register it, I can't freaking insure it. )
I replaced the Cat back in January after someone stole mine ( I had some choice words that morning )
I'm wondering if the cat failed, or if it's a bad o2 sensor, and if there is anything I can do to uhh.. tweak it enough so it passes next time and get's me by until I can do some serious work on it in Indiana.

Oops... my bad. Mine must be something different then.
My CEL is on, but I can't get it to give me codes by jumpering it. I dunno what the deal is. :-/ ( I know I have a bad o-ring at the top of the front injector on the drivers side, so I suspect that's my problem ( especially since it passed emissions with FLYING colors all the times it was tested before I bought it )

Shortyz, change the O2 sensor again. In my experience, every time my Toyota's have thrown a code 25 a new O2 sensor has fixed it. Get a new OEM Denso and you'll be good to go.
