Bumpers

ok guys...dont have time at school to build my own front bumper..(building tube doors instead)..so im lookin to buy a NICE front bumper..now although i would love to have an ARB or WARN...they are simply too much...i really really really like the BadlandBumpers Basher tube..but its $550 plus $200 shipping..thats way too much..

so if anybody could take some time and jot down a few different websites of bumper...besides marlin and TG..or all-pro...i'd greatly appreciate it..

i know about Addicted's too..just trying to see all of my options before i make the decision..as this is a Graduation/birthday/going away present..lol

Kennesaw Mountain accessories. I got my rear bumper from them, its been good. Theres different option you can add on to the bumpers too (for additional fees of course)

4xinnovations.
all of them are gonna be in the similar price range...
since you seem like you are on a budget and can weld, consider going the route I did:
I picked up a trail-gear winch mount (same thing addicted off road and trail gear base their bumpers off of)
for yours it would bolt right up, I welded mine:

a few months later a buddy of mine hooked me up:

nice thing I liked about going this route is that I could go the route I wanted whole cost of the mount was around $150, than I was able to do the tube work when I had extra cash...

Damn ocd that looks good! I wich I'd have had the resources that you had at the time. I went with Marlins front and rear *ouch*.

OP. If you have the ability to weld then make your own. I can't complain about the MC's I have since I've beat the crap out of them and never had an issue. But then again the 750$ for two bumpers was a hit in the wallet that I had saved for over a couple of months.

I am thinking about doing what OCD recommended; buying the winch plate from trail gear, bolting it on, and cutting whatever part of the stock bumper necessary to fit a winch. the trail gear winch plate is only $129.

Junkers, just be glad you don't own a land rover. I recently left the land rover game and am so stoked on the low cost of Toyota Parts. You won't find a land rover winch bumper under $750.

Build your own its cheap
Made this a few days ago for 0 dollars, had the pipe, and plate

1 7/8, 3/16 pipe

Its a little crooked, but it'll hold me over till I have some coin to buy a TG one. Then this one will get recycled onto the 79.

i just bought one from addicted, i chose it because the stinger dosent block the headlights or my vision at all, you can just see the top of it over the hood, and its a pretty good price. although it took him over 2 months to finally make& ship it. but other than that no complaints about it.

i really like the one from badlandbumpers.com
and its not too bad price wise(for what it is..and how strong it is) but the shipping is what made my dad say "i doubt it" because shipping to the weastside of oklahoma would be $200...which is ALOT..i even told him i would pay shipping..he still said the same thing..

i would build one..but...with the motor being out of my truck..and it not going to be ready for a couple more weeks..and we only have 3 weeks of school left...and i have no axcess to a welder..or a tubing bender...so..building my own is out of the question..im hoping to get the truck done so i can build my tube doors..

i like Addicted's...but i dont know how strong it is...im not going to be doin anything to where i would need the stinger..but i think it looks ok..but i have to have some tubing to protect the headlights..i wont have a winch for a while...so dont necessarily need that either..i emailed Addicted and asked him if he could add some stuff to his bumper for me..and how much it would cost..havent gotten one back yet..

and it took him 2 MONTHS TO MAKE AND SHIP IT TO YOU!!!!!!..DAMN!..thats a LONG @$$ time..jeez lueez..i was thinking maybe 2weeks building and shipping..

i havent found a bumper ANYWHERE...home built or anything that looks as good as the badlands basher tube..hands down it seems to be the best bumper around..(besides ARB..TJM..shrockworks..people like them..lol)

anybody else have any suggestions then just post em up..or if anybody wants to build one for me...shoot me a PM and we can talk $$$

keep in mind that for the past couple months scotty has had a LOT on his plate including fabbing a radical new design for a rear tire carrier for first gen runners and moving his shop and going to KOH, so give him a break... his work is top notch, and scotty is a really cool guy to talk to...

shoot him a PM and im sure he'd be able to answer any of your questions here...
i believe his name on here is scottyc...

I think all-pro looks sweet. $399 (not including S/H)
It's just a suggestion, I don't have one.
Does anybody who has one knows how they install, or if they have turn signal brackets?

My bumpers are made from the same materials and thickness as most of the others. So, strength is going to be comparable. I did return that email the other day. Did you get it?

Yes, I have been backed up on orders lately, but have been doing my best to get caught up. Even hired a new guy strictly for bumper builds. He is going to school and only works two days a week. Last week was finals, so he was off. Anyway, this week we will ship out another five bumpers. So, we are getting caught up as fast as we can.

I am a small shop. Only two of us there, and quality fabrication does take time.
