Did you change the gears or axles yet? Axles may be the weakest link.

Is it pretty sluggish now with that gearing?

nevermind, you're running 5:29's right?

Axles may need upgrade if you haven't yet.
Go buy some rockwells and make that thing badass!!

I think Turbo4Runner has $1500 bucks he'll loan you.

i havent really heard of rockwells? are they front or rear axles? and with the 3.0 v6 automatic and 529's its not bad. i can still cruze the speedlimit on all the mountains around here. Where i live everything is either up or down cause i live on a mountain.

Rockwells are pretty much military grade axles, probably overkill for your set-up, even with 36's.

If you can maintain speed limit you're probably doin fine.

Yep I'll loan any one $1500 as long as they have at least $1500 worth of aftermarket parts for a 1st gen 4Runner to give me for collateral.

Can you post a bigger version of your avatar?

(best way to post pix is have Shutterfly, Photobucket, etc host them, then post a link to the file inside square brackets with IMG and /IMG bracketing it)

I want to see more pictures. I cannot believe 35's fit with no rubbing. You must have a miracle truck.
