I feel terrible now, the same thing happened to me and instead of pinching pennies i just bought an LCE header and exhaust. $800 milage cheque = bye bye

That LCE header and their exhaust kit is worth the money. I wouldn't worry about it.

Don't feel bad about it, I wish I had the balls to drop 800$ without worrying. I'll end up getting everything I want I just need to do it instages.

Yeah I read a bunch of reviews and didn't see one bad thing mentioned other than the price. I figure I can get the header kit that bolts to the existing cat first. Then later on I can get the cat and replace it, then get a magna flow and have the local shop weld it in.

After I got the new muffler welded in today I noticed that it's not nearly as peppy as it was without a muffler at all. I think I'll be going with bigger pipe when I get around to doing this thing again.

Don't forget all the highend rides use a can-back exhaust system, pricey, but worth every ground...

yeah.

and a spoiler can give you 50-60 HP too.
