Well I would like to have quallity suspension.

I am just confused what I will need. I have been searching so many threads and it seems that everyone says something different is needed.

Besides the kit from trd parts what else will I need, what does it do and where I can get it. Someone with experiece using this set up could you please give me advice.

Do you want something for driving down the freeway or do you want to do alot of playing in the woods, as far as a stock rig just fixing the sag adding a leaf into your suspension would be the least intrusive option and would retain your ride and would look stock...

4Runners dont have leaf springs, so you can't really add a leaf. My buddy has three 2nd gens and put air bags in the rear of all of them. They fit inside the coils, look really clean, and work great. And you can air-up or down depending on your needs. I'd look into it if I were you.

I do like the new coils and shock route. I will be out in the bush with my truck loaded with mountain bikes so I think the ome kit would be best at this time instead on any band aid solution.

I'm just having trouble finding what else is required for this application to keep the truck running true.

I was thinking about adding the airbags just for heavy loading and towing purposes. I hate to Thread jack here a little, but NIX4X4, what system did your friend use. I noticed that PP has a couple different systems for 3rd gens for under $100. I currently have the Tundra/OME lift. But if im dragging the boat to the lake it would be nice to take the stress off my new coils.

i just took off my running boards as well

i would recommend the downey coils, they are an easy way to get a lift..
while your at it i would replace the shocks too if you havent already..

I would not recommend option 1. We have it there for people that want it but it requires a lot of other modifications. I would use the option 2 and the Sonoran Steel Pan Hard bracket or the rod and the rear lower control arm truss. That will give you a complete setup and it is designed for your Gen.2. I ran the same setup on mine and loved it. Like I said before feel free to call me with any questions.
